You will have the option to chose how your retirement plan is invested. You may select your own allocation, a passively managed index allocation, or an advisor-guided mutual fund model based on your risk tolerance preference.
Our unique solution pairs your path to achieving retirement goals with true wealth management expertise. You will have the ability to control how your retirement account is invested while having the piece of mind knowing your investment vehicles are being monitored and adjusted by investment professionals.
The first step in the GGM 401(k) Advisor-Guided Plan check-up begins with a complimentary evaluation of your retirement plan’s ability to protect both the plan sponsor (employer) and participant (employee) by meeting the current Department of Labor investment fiduciary and structural requirements. An objective analysis of your plan’s goals, objectives, investment vehicle options, professional counseling & support, educational resources, and cost structure will ensure your retirement plan enlists the top characteristics of today’s elite 401(k) plans.
Upon providing the following information, we will perform a complimentary evaluation and schedule a follow-up to discuss GGM’s recommendations regarding the health of your current 401(k) plan.
GGM’s 401(k) Advisor-Guided Plan has four risk-based portfolio allocation models. Each participant will have
the option to implement their model selection via one of the following methods:
The “GGM Select Mutual Fund” Model: The primary objective of the screening process is to identify the “best-inclass”
on an overall risk/return basis, while considering short and long-term peer group performance, relative risk
characteristics, fund expenses, manager tenure and fund family “stewardship.”
A Low Cost Index Model: The exchange traded fund (ETF) index implementation methodology has been included
specifically for participants who prefer a pure low-cost index alternative. This model will primarily utilize Vanguard indexes
as well as other industry leading ETFs.
Self-Directed: A “do-it-yourself”option is available for participants who would like to chose their own allocation by
selecting any combination of the mutual funds and ETF indexes available.
The GGM Advisor-Guided Plan: Provides active investment management solutions specifically designed to
address the shortcomings common to most retirement plans.
Participant Guidance and Education: GGM provides financial education via annual group meetings to
discuss market conditions, review investment options, performance, and answer participant questions regarding
his/her retirement account and/or any other personal financial issues such as life insurance, mortgage refinancing,
estate planning, etc. GGM also provides on-going telephone and e-mail support to address interim issues.
Multiple Risk-Based Implementation Choices: In order to meet varying participant objectives, GGM has
constructed four risk-based portfolio allocation choices plus a “do-it-yourself” option. Portfolio choices may be
implemented utilizing either GGM’s pre-screened “Select Mutual Fund” Model or a “Low Cost Index” Model. Our
“best of the best” approach screens for short and long-term peer group performance, relative risk characteristics,
fund expenses, manager tenure and fund family “stewardship.”
