The Grant/GrossMendelsohn
Investment Experience: Overview
Investment Experience: Overview
| Grant/GrossMendelsohn investment clients range in age from 30-something to 80+. Many are financially successful executives, professionals and entrepreneurs who are very good at what they do, while others lack the financial expertise and experience to manage their monetary resources. Although many clients have made the wise decision to save for their retirement through company-sponsored pension or 401(k) plans, others have their assets tied to businesses or real estate. Given the three elements critical to investment success — time, tools and inclination — there is no doubt that some of our clients could be as successful managing their own money as they are at making it. Lacking one or all three of these elements, however, these individuals have selected the Grant/GrossMendelsohn team to help them address their broader wealth management needs, including income and estate tax planning, college education funding, and providing for a comfortable and secure retirement. Our investment approach is based on a disciplined, step-by-step, customized process. We apply the most sophisticated financial analysis and research in practical and results-oriented portfolio design and execution. While return is always important to our clients, we’ve found that safety is equally critical to them. So we focus on building portfolios that are consistent with the client’s desired level of safety. This, in turn, defines the types of investment options they will be comfortable with and the rate of return they can earn. We talk over everything we do in detail — and in plain English — with each client so they know exactly what we’re recommending and why. After all, we’re investing our client’s money, not our money, so clients need to understand and be comfortable with our recommendations. Our six-step process provides long-term structure and optimizes the potential to achieve clients’ investment goals. |
